We know that Louis Vuitton and Hermes are among those fashion brands that are most immediately associated with luxury.
However, these brands did not reach the pinnacle of luxury or accessible luxury by accident. They got there because they implemented appropriate differentiation strategies globally. But what about our sector? Do we have luxury cables? Can we implement appropriate differentiation strategies? You can learn more in my book.
Of course, in the cable sector there are high performing products and within that category there are products that I would absolutely describe as Hyper performing!
But are these cables considered high performing or hyper performing merely because a certain conductor must be installed to comply with a specific regulation? Or is it because the manufacturers during the production process, as well as the distributors during the selection process and the designers when specifying the system, actually recognise the best value/performance of the cable, its durability and all its qualities independently of its cost? Think about it!
The cables that I mentioned in the headline (H07BQ-F) fall into this category, having higher mechanical stress values in general (better performance), as do other cables such as Halogen Free Cables and obviously fire resistant cables and so on.
Their properties definitely make them superior to other cables, or even to similar cables; but more than that, these cables are produced by companies where the focus on and the philosophy of “excellence”, starting from the selection of the products they purchase, make the difference over time, as they have with Louis Vuitton or Hermes in the choice of their raw materials.
